Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez still feels that things still are going well and is sure Steven Gerrard can still win the title with Liverpool Football Club.

Currently Liverpool is at seventh-placed on premier league table and Liverpool fans especially are very disappointed with the situation.

He said: “We have turned the corner. You could see that against Debrecen. We have kept the unbeaten run going and that’s the positive thing. It’s another clean sheet and you can see that we are reacting and trying to do things well.”

Despite looking the stronger side for much of the second half against a Blackburn it was another uncomfortable afternoon for Liverpool.

However, Pepe Reina clearly does not share his manager’s optimistic view about Liverpool’s revival. He said: “I would swap that clean sheet for a victory all day long. Apparently we are defending better now than we were but we have to win because that is what really matters. Having said that, if you cannot win, the next most important thing is not to lose so at least we managed that. It was a difficult game and in the end I think a draw was a fair result.”
