Three young and impressive and promising Liverpool players Jay Spearing, Stephen Darby and Yossi Benayoun are agreed on new contracts at Anfield. jay Spearing and Stephen Darby got three year extension and Yossi Benayoun has put pen to paper on two year extension of contract with Liverpool FC.

20-year-old talented midfielder Jay Spearing is highly valued in the club and is known to have impressed Rafa Benitez last season with some impressive performances from the reserve. Jay Spearing captained the FA Youth Cup-winning side in 2007 and debuted in the first team last season as a substitute in the Champions League win over Real Madrid.

Also 20-year-old Stephen Darby is a former reserve team captain and his debut came in the fourth round of the League Cup defeat to Tottenham. Tagged by former Reds manager reserves as “Mr. Consistency ‘, Darby made three first team appearances last season.

29-year-old Isreal international Yossi Benayoun has signed a new two-year contract extension that tied him to the club until 2013. Benayoun who joined the club in a £5million deal from West Ham in 2007, enjoyed an impressive end of last season and joins the other team star Steven Gerrard, Fernando Torres, Dirk Kuyt and Daniel Agger in agreeing to a new long-term compared to the whole of Merseyside.
